Do you love tamales but not sure how to make them? This is the perfect workshop for you! Join us at Picado Mexican for a fun-filled evening of all things tamales!! Tamales are one of the oldest and most traditional dishes in Mexican cuisine. They are a celebratory meal and widely eaten all over the country. They are delicious, suitable for Coeliacs and a tiny bit tricky to make, but when you master the art of making them, you'll never stop!!
In this workshop, we'll show you how to make tamales from scratch. We'll make them with two different fillings (one meat one vegetarian) and make a couple of salsas too so you'll have plenty of hands-on practice. When they are ready, we'll sit down to a delicious meal with everything we cook.

To begin with, they ARE NOT made with wheat wraps, they ARE NOT covered in yellow-plastic-ky-looking cheese, and they ARE NOT baked in the oven. Most importantly, they are NEVER, EVER in a pack! So forget all you know about enchiladas and join us for an evening of discovering. Let us show you how to make 4 different types of 'en-adas' (en-chil-adas, en-tomat-adas, en-mol-adas and enchiladas verdes). We'll show you how easy and healthy these four dinners are while we talk about chilies, traditional cooking methods and all things tasty.
This class is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and carnivores, so join us for an evening of all things enchiladas in a relaxed and friendly environment.
