Achiote paste is a blend of annatto seeds, spices, herbs and vinegar and it is traditionally used in Mexican food from the regions of Yucatan peninsula and Oaxaca. Use as a marinade for chicken, fish, pork and turkey in Mexico. Normally disolved with orange juice, cyder vinegar, it tastes amazingly good. We absolutely love it with pork.
