I adore mango! it's one of my favourite fruits, yet it is so difficult to find nice fresh mangos here as we don't get enough sun. I find them expensive and very lacking in the taste department, so when I found the tinned ones, I went bananas for them! :) Mango figures in many savory and sweet dishes in Mexico and although the texture is softer than the fresh ones, the flavour is so much better! Plus pound by pound, probably very close in price!
